Part of: Whistlewood Common
Created by Sarah Spencer
Forest Gardens are multi-layered edible gardens that take their inspiration from natural woodlands. They are designed to be low-maintenance and highly productive in fruit, nuts, perennial edibles, herbs and other resources such as craft materials, dyes and even string. They can be large, or can fit into the smallest of gardens.
Workshop leader Sarah Spencer is an experienced forest gardener, having created two forest gardens – at her own smallholding and at Melbourne Junior School. She holds a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design.
Includes lunch and forest garden tastings. £35
