 ns and allotments, celebrate the diversity of English apples on the Ta
 sting Table and sample cakes, jams and chutneys made from apples - bri
 ng your own to add to the selection. Other attractions include apple c
 rafts and games for children, including the Longest Peel Competition a
 nd how to make apple bird feeders, a poetry corner, an arts and crafts
  stall and a competiton to name Crouch End's own apple. There will als
 o be a cookery demonstration, as well as a report on a recent journey 
 to trace the origins of the apple. The cafe will provide refreshments 
 on an apple theme, with a free beverage to those who bring their own m
 ug. Last year's event attracted over 200 visitors; this year we hope t
