Event Description

Quarterly event that gives residents a chance to influence the council agenda on sustainability, led by officers from the sustainability unit.
This month we will be building on the work we have been doing around the Cooperative Council, Sustainable Communities Strategy and setting up a food growing support network, Incredible Edible Lambeth, and understanding the role that community groups and residents can play in taking these agendas forward, and, perhaps leading on them (in a cooperative way).

Latest update - we are expecting this meeting to be very well attended by senior councillors and officers because they want to hear more from grassroots groups. They have heard lots lately but they like what they hear and want to hear more...
Duncan Law from Transition Town Brixton is bringing a motion on biofuels - that aims to make Lambeth the first biofuel-free borough.
