Community Allotment Open Day

1pm to 4pm

turn up from 12pm if you can help set up

for new Grow Bag Guardians - come and talk to Carole, our Veg Advisor from BOST
for families - facepainting and children's activities

Come and help complete the first section of the community mosaic artwork
to be laid on the herb spiral by local Artist, Jay James

plus, this month's allotment jobs:


Dig the spiral bed and plant the new herbs (being delivered this week)
Tidy up the soft fruit cages and plant the strawberries
Plant carrots and salads in the remaining raised beds

By The Way...
we are on the look out for:
Large pots and containers for transferring overcrowded plants
(unusual containers are fine - must have holes in the bottom to drain water)
2 small tree stumps or similar for sitting on at the top of the herb spiral
Planks and offcuts to turn into benches
