The long-term climate forecast for Britain includes an increasing frequency of summer droughts, winter floods, heatwaves and rising sea levels. Drawing on examples of traditional building design from across Europe, Will Anderson explores how we can design buildings and settlements to cope with these changes and with the wider threats to energy security and food security that they exacerbate.
The talk runs from 7pm-8pm with Q&A. Signed copies of Will's new book Homes for a Changing Climate will be available for sale on the night
The talk is part of our regular Open Space meetings at the Loughborough Centre on the first Monday of every month
