Camden Friends of the Earth work across the Borough of Camden to lobby Camden council, MPs, businesses and organisations, working for positive environmental action with other local groups and participating in community events.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Pirate Club, Oval Road, Camden, NW1 7EA at 7.30pm. Come join us! We’re open to anyone who wishes to be involved in making our environment healthier, on a local, national and international scale.

Our activities
We're currently campaigning on a variety of topics: for an independent enquiry into the power of the Big Six energy companies, support for local community renewable energy, improved cycle safety and sustainable transport. We continue to campaign on Get Serious about CO2, to get Camden to cut its carbon emissions by 40% by 2020. Later this year we'll be putting on some events and activities around bees and biodiversity.
Recently we held a very successful public meeting on energy issues with Frank Dobson MP, the deputy leader of Camden Council and over 70 members of the local public.
Other recent events include a sustainable transport treasure hunt, a freegan vegan banquet with bicycle powered music, an eco street opera, stalls at local fairs and festivals, and we won an Earthmovers Award for our Outreach activity.
Check out our website and come along to one of our meetings to find out more!
