Parkfields Community Garden

A new project to create a community garden on abandoned allotments in a corner of Parkfields site in North Kingston. Permaculture principles will be used to design the site with fruit, veg and herb growing, wildlife areas and community workshops.

uncleared area from main willow looking west, nettles now over run with bindweed

border with Amy's plot - cleared a couple of weeks ago grass growing quickly, horseradish in foreground

cleared area, heap of vegetative waste, dug over and mulched area behind (stables in distance)

treasures stored by coppiced willow - tarmac and bricks, metal and wood

regular volunteers work session today and most Thursdays 2-5pm
