Project Dirt

Making environmental change happen

Timberland Earthkeepers

Since almost the beginning of (PD) time, Timberland has believed in the Project Dirt vision and shown a desire to engage with and facilitate grassroots green activity right here in London. Over two years this has manifested itself in the Earthkeeper (EK) grant fund which has so far seen £12,000 of funding delivered to some of London's most inspiring green projects!

The winners for last year's (2011) Earthkeepers Grant have now been announced here. The slides below are winners from 2009/10.

"People are increasingly concerned about climate change and its impact on our world, but it’s an overwhelming issue and it can be difficult to know how or where to begin. We can help by better educating consumers on how to be a part of the solution, inspiring them through the stories of others, and engaging them in events to put their own environmental passion into action."
Jeff Swartz, Former CEO Timberland

Congratulations to the six winners - announced here- keep an eye on this page for further information about the six winning projects. If you have any questions about the process please contact Nick (nick@projectdirt.com).
