Bristol based City to Sea, a non-profit organisation campaigning to prevent marine plastic pollution at source, are looking for volunteers to help with collating data from an important school’s pilot study. The education resources were tackling the environmental and social aspects of periods and menstrual products from taboos to flushing and period poverty.
Do you love data entry?
Are you keen to get experience with a statistical analysis project?
Have you got Ad-Hoc time over the summer to collate data from your home in July and August?
Would you like to assist a plastics campaign to get nationwide funding for a schools education project?
Do you have access to a computer and WIFI?
If you answer yes to any of the above, then we need you to collate qualitative and quantitate data from feedback forms completed by primary and secondary pupils.
The data is quick to collate and will provide us with valuable insights into how well the lesson plans were received, improvements required and what the potential environmental and social impacts have and could be if we can secure nationwide funding.
In return for your support and help, we have a range of reusable products for those who complete 8 hours plus. Furthermore, we can provide a cv reference and of course you know that you helping to challenge plastic pollution, period taboos and inspiring the next generation.
We will be running two training evenings in June on Tuesday 19th and Monday 25th June from 6.30-7.30pm in Bristol- you just need to attend one! If you can’t make these dates but would still like to be involved then complete the form and let us know. We will consider running training in early July too.
To get involved simply complete this quick application form. http://ow.ly/OxKO30kpZ2V
